HELPFUL TIP
Windows® 7, Vista™, and XP offer different features for users with impaired vision. For complete description and step-by-step directions for making Windows® more viewable, please go to: http://www.microsoft.com/enable/aging/tips.aspx
Keep all computer parts away from direct sunlight, moisture, dirt, extreme heat, and abrasive chemicals (cleaning solutions).
DO NOT spill or spray any liquid on the keyboard. If any liquid is spilled on the keyboard or mouse, switch off your computer immediately and unplug all items. Turn the keyboard upside down to drain the liquid.
If the liquid is water, simply let the keyboard dry before using it again.
If the liquid is a sticky substance, drain the liquid and then completely wipe the keyboard with a damp cloth. Allow the keyboard to dry completely before reconnecting it to the computer.
For optimum performance, keep your keyboard clean and free of debris, such as food crumbs or dust. Keyboards should be cleaned on a monthly basis, with “spray and wipe” cleaner applied to either a cloth or tissue. Be sure the computer is turned off before cleaning.

SYSTEM REQUIREMENTS
Windows® compatible computer
USB port
Microsoft Windows 7, Vista, XP, or 2000
Four AA batteries (two for mouse, two for keyboard)
INSTALLING THE BATTERIES
The Keys-U-See® Wireless Combo keyboard and mouse each use two AA batteries. You may use either rechargable or alkaline batteries.
KEYBOARD
CAUTION: To avoid permanently damaging the keyboard, you must install the batteries with the negative (-) and positive (+)terminals in the correct position.

Remove the battery compartment cover on the bottom of the keyboard by squeezing the tab towards the cover to release it.
The correct orientation of the batteries is shown in the compartment. Place the flat end (negative pole) of one battery against the spring. While maintaining a slight pressure against the spring, insert the next battery as shown, and carefully push into place. Make sure both batteries are seated properly.
To replace the cover, position it over the compartment and gently press down to engage the tab.
MOUSE
CAUTION: To avoid permanently damaging the mouse, you must install the batteries with the negative (-) and positive (+) terminals in the correct position.

Remove the battery compartment cover on the bottom of the mouse by pressing against the slotted side of the cover to release the tab.
The correct orientation of the batteries is shown in the bottom of the compartment. Place the flat end (negative pole) of the battery against the spring and gently push the battery into place. Do the same for the other battery.
To replace the cover, position it over the compartment and gently press down to engage the tab.
CONNECTING THE RECEIVER

Connect the receiver to any USB port in your computer. Your computer will automatically detect the receiver and the receiver will recognize your keyboard and mouse.
The receiver communicates within a 10 meter (32.8 feet) radius. Therefore, the exact position of the keyboard and mouse in relation to the receiver is not critical, providing you with considerable freedom of movement.
If the keyboard or mouse does not seem to be working, you may have to manually establish the RF (radio frequency) communication with the receiver.
Establishing RF Communication MANUALLY

Press the CONNECT button located on the receiver.
Then press the CONNECT button located on the bottom of the mouse.
Press the receiver CONNECT button again.
Finally, press the CONNECT button located on the bottom of the keyboard.
Repeat Steps 1-4 if necssary.
Using Your Wireless Mouse
Your wireless optical mouse comes with a scroll wheel that is also a grabber button.
Moving the wheel scrolls your page up and down in the document window, much like using the scroll bar on the right side of your document window.
Clicking on the wheel changes the mouse cursor into a grabber tool, which then allows you to "grab" the document and move it in any direction within the document window. Click again to change the cursor back.

Battery Free Mouse and Mouse Pad Installation:
Connect the mouse pad’s USB cable to your computer USB port.
Place the mouse on the center of the mouse pad and DO NOT move the mouse. The PWR LED light on the receiver should now remain lit.

When the mouse is not on the mouse pad, the red PWR LED blinks or flashes steadily.
When the mouse is on the mouse pad, the red PWR LED remains on continuously
Press the TUNE button to initialize the RFID and obtain the best frequency response for optimal performance.
Use the TUNE button when connecting the mouse pad for the first time or when the BatteryFREE unit is relocated to another computer.
When the tuning process is complete, both the PWR and RUN LEDs will remain lit.
Move the mouse. The green RUN LED should remain lit while the mouse is moving. If the green RUN LED blinks or flashes steadily, press the TUNE button to reset the frequency.
When to Press the TUNE Button
If your mouse cursor does not move, or is not moving smoothly, or when the red or green LEDs flash steadily, press the TUNE Button until the frequency has been readjusted for the best performance. Repeat the process if needed.
IMPORTANT
Do not use this product on any metal table or surface. The metal surface may interface with the cross induction frequency and have an adverse effect on the mouse operation.
Do not place credit/debit cards or any other magnetic stripe type cards close to your RFID mouse pad. Doing so may cause permanent damage to the card.
Keep work area temperature at 32 to 122 degrees Fahrenheit (32°-122°F) or 0 to 50 degrees Celsius (0°– 50°C).
Do not place the mouse receiver too close to CRT monitor; keep a minimum distance of 8” or 20 cm.
The RFID frequency is 119 kHz – 135 kHz.
Installing iOffice2Wheel Software
The iOffice2Wheel enables various functions for the scrolling wheels and buttons.
Note that the iOffice2Wheel software is compatible with Windows® ME/2000/XP/Vista™ only.
Before installing the iOffice2Wheel:
You MUST uninstall any previous mouse driver
You MUST set up your BatteryFREE mouse and mouse pad first.
Insert the compact disc (CD) that came with your mouse into the CD drive. The installation menu will display automatically.
Click Install Driver on the left.
Click to select Office 2-Wheel and the right side will display two mouse models.
The one on the right is your mouse model. Click the button below it to install driver.
Follow the screen instructions, and when installation is completed, select exit.
Remove the CD and restart your computer
You will see a mouse icon appear on the bottom right of your task bar (near the clock area).
Double-click on the mouse icon to display the Mouse Properties window.

If the mouse image in the window looks exactly the same as your mouse, then you have successfully installed the iOffice2Wheel software.
Programming Your Mouse Settings
With the mouse properties window open, check that you are on the Button tab. In Button Assignments, the numbers on the mouse image correspond to numbers listed to the right.
#1 button has been assigned “Main Button” by default and it is not programmable.
# 2 button has been assigned “Right Button,” which works as right-click for your mouse. If you prefer, you can assign a different function by selecting from the drop menu.
The vertical scroll wheel is known as a “Wheel Button” because you can also click it like a button. By default, this #3 button, when clicked, has been assigned the“Pan” function. Again, you can select a different function from the drop menu.
The horizontal scroll wheel has alternate functions only with Office-Button options.
You can program #4, #5 and #6 buttons the same way as the other buttons. (Note: If the box beside 4/5/6 use as “Office–Button” is checked, the drop menus for these buttons will be unavailable.)
If you want to use #4, #5 and #6 buttons for Office-Button functions, first you have to click on the box beside 4/5/6 use as “Office Button”.

Then click on Office-Button options on the right. This will display the Office-Button menu.
The Office-Button Menu
There are two ways to open the Office-Button menu — using either Office-Button options in the Mouse Properties window as described in 6 above, or the 6th button, which is labeled Office Switch on the mouse.
When you press the Office Switch, the Office-Button Jump Icon is displayed.
Clicking on the “24” in any corner of the Jump Icon brings up the Office-Button menu.
There are 24 selections in the Office-Button menu, and you may choose up to a maximum of 8 at a time.
The 8 selected functions appear in the four quadrants of the Jump Icon in small icon format.
A blue diamond denotes the function(s) assigned to both the 4th and 5th buttons.
For example, the Jump Icon shows the function with the blue diamond as backward and forward (symbolized by opposite arrows).
Therefore, clicking on the 4th button takes you backward a step/page and clicking on the 5th button takes you forward a step/page.
The 4 small icons in the center of the Jump Icon denote the functions for the horizontal scroll or 2nd wheel.
Selecting one of the center small icons assigns that function to the 2nd wheel.
Using the Wheels
Vertical Scroll: Move the wheel up and down using the fingertip of your index finger.
Horizontal Scroll: Move the wheel side to side using the middle part of your index finger.
